Peter has over 30 years experience working with professional services and insurance companies; KPMG, RSA, Aon, Lockton, Bupa and Osborne Clarke.
During that time he has worked across many countries and in the last 9 years he’s been based in Asia working mainly in Singapore, Thailand and China. He’s now partly based in the UK
“I missed the pubs and football but not the weather” whilst undertaking projects in various markets.

In his view “I’ve learned a lot and it seemed a shame to waste it…” “It isn’t that we know more than the client, indeed far from it, it’s just we can bring a practical and experienced perspective and the client gives us the time that they don’t have themselves, so we can work on the solution…”
And why call the business PXJ Management Consulting
“When I joined one company there was already someone with the same name so I.T. put an X in my email address and from then on in that company I was known as Peter X Jackson. I have been asked if that’s my middle name, but coming from Stoke-on-Trent I don’t think my parents would have called me Xavier.”
What resources do you have?
“We don’t have lots of consultants as employees, but a network that’s been built up over the years where we can call upon the right person to manage the project. Sometimes we are managing the consultants on behalf of clients who don’t have experience in hiring or managing consultants and call us in to help.”
